Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

MusclePlan does not collect any personal information or usage data.

• All data you enter in the app — workout logs, exercises, schedules — is stored only on your device.
• There is no developer server, and your data is never transmitted anywhere.
• No account registration is required.
• The app contains no ads, no tracking, and no analytics tools.

2. Microphone and Speech Recognition

Microphone and speech recognition permissions are requested only if you use the voice input feature for logging sets.

• Speech-to-text uses Apple's built-in speech recognition (standard on iOS), so audio may be processed by Apple. Such processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• The app itself never stores, collects, or shares your audio with third parties.
• Every feature other than voice input works without microphone permission.

3. AI Features (Apple Intelligence)

On supported devices, the app offers AI coach features (explanations of suggested targets, weekly reviews, and rest-day messages). These use Apple's on-device language model provided by Apple Intelligence.

• All AI text generation happens entirely on your device. Your workout data is never sent to external servers for AI processing.
• On devices without Apple Intelligence, these features are simply hidden and the app works as usual.

4. Notifications

Workout-day reminders and rest-timer alerts are local notifications that are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No push notification server is used.

5. Backups

The backup feature exports your data as a JSON file only when you choose to do so. You decide where the file is saved or shared; the developer never receives its contents.

6. Data Deletion

Deleting the app deletes all data stored on your device.

Any changes to this policy will be announced on this page.
